This Privacy Policy explains how Planning Poker handles personal data when you use this app.

Data We Process

• Room and session data such as display names, room codes, votes, and issue details.
• Technical data needed to keep you signed in during a browser session (for example, session cookie pp_sid).
• If you enable Jira OAuth, temporary OAuth credentials and selected Jira site metadata.

How Data Is Used

• To provide core planning poker features, including room participation and voting.
• To enable Jira issue search/import only when Jira integration is enabled by a user.
• To secure sessions and prevent unauthorized access to active rooms.

Storage and Retention

• Room and vote data are stored in server memory while the service is running.
• Jira OAuth credentials are stored in memory for the active session and removed on disconnect/restart.
• Client preferences (such as display name/theme) are stored in your browser local storage.

Third-Party Services

When Jira OAuth is used, data is exchanged with Atlassian Cloud APIs according to Atlassian policies.

Your Choices

You can stop using the app at any time, clear local browser storage, and disconnect Jira OAuth from the app settings.
